Add Custom Booking Status

To us, bookings that are 'lost' do not become definite bookings and may be lost due to unavailability, or price. Bookings that are 'cancelled' become definite, money is paid, but then need to cancel for a number of reasons, such as illness, or the couple breaking up.
We report on these differently, rather than using 'lost reasons' we'd like to have a separate status for Lost Vs Cancelled Bookings
*Some users want to add the status postponed - during this time several groups are postponing but not cancelling.
*Other users use terms like 'confirmed' or other languages so would also be beneficial to them

I agree with fellow colleagues saying that there is a difference between a Lost booking and a Cancelled Booking. We also really need an "Executed" or I believe someone called it "Actual" status for when the event has be completed and if the system could automatically switch it from definite to executed the day after the event, that would be ideal.

We would also like to see some custom booking statuses, such as Cancelled (Refund Requested), Cancelled (Deposit Retained), Postponed etc... Ideally we would like to have the hard-coded statuses plus 3-4 "flex" statuses, or the ability to work with your team to customize these so that they become a tracking point. The workflows associated with the restrictive "Lead", "Definite", "Tentative" and "Lost" statuses do not cover our use case.

Agreed! We'd love to have the ability to create custom Status options. For us, one status we'd benefit from is "followed up" so we can quickly see by color code any leads that we've already followed up with or need to be contacted after initial inquiry.

We reached out to discuss further, please reply back when you get a chance

It would be perfect if it was possible to add more Booking Statuses in Event Temple.
The once that i am missing are these:
CANCELLED (Cancelled should be used when a already confirmed (definite) bookings is cancelled
LOST (Lost should be used when an request in status Lead and/or Tentative cancel their booking)
ACTUAL (Actual should be used when the customer have completed their meeting/group based on the reservation End Date. Even better, it the status automatically changed from Definite to Acutal the day after the reservation End Date).

Woora with MCR Hotels would like to see the options of Cancelled, Turned Down, Error

I agree. I could really use a Cancelled option.

Some of our events get cancelled but we still have to invoice them etc and if we mark them as lost the "just disappear". So a status that allows it to remain in the calender but make it clear that it isnt happening by being called cancelled would be awesome.

Amelie Mettenheimer: Hi Amelie, thanks for your feedback. If you were able to see 'lost' status Bookings on the Calendar would this solve the issue for you rather than having a custom status?
A
Amelie Mettenheimer
Katie Knight: Not really. I still need to identify what is "lost no action required" and what is "lost invoice needs to be sent".

Nadia from Hamilton Convention Center would like to add that Lost should only mean that the booking was not ever going to come to fruition. Canceled bookings are not technically Lost since it had been confirmed and a deposit paid.

Ability to have 'cancelled' status in addition to 'lost'. Post covid-19 we, unfortunately, did have a few events who decided to overall cancel and I would love to be able to have these separate from my 'lost' leads. Could especially be helpful for reports
