We'd like the ability to build custom fields for Menu Items, the same way it is used in other areas of the app. For one particular situation, it'd be helpful to use an 'Account' / 'contact' custom field type to link a Vendor Contact to a menu item.

Ideally then, the custom field will be visible in reporting. This would be useful to track how many menu items I've sold from a particular vendor.

Custom fields are a well developed and very flexible feature within ET and extending it to menu items seem to me to be a natural extension that would open a lot of flexibility.
