Allow guests to save documents prior to submitting

Sometimes guests need to fill in various information on a Document leading up to their event. Currently they need to submit the form each time which locks the document. our team then need to unlock the document for the guest to continue to complete it. It would be better if there was a 'save' option which will allow the guest to save any data filled in (and keeping it unlocked), and then when they are ready they can sign & 'submit' the document which will lock it.

This could be controlled by the document type or something else as there are certainly some documents like contracts that we don't want them to edit, but then there are other docs that aren't going to be completed in one sitting or even one stage of a booking.
Users have the ability to save drafts of documents, it would be nice if the external-user/contact/client had that same ability.
I guess an easy implementation would be to simply add a save button to the client side like we have, in addition to the submit button.
