Feature Requests

Currently there are only 3 types of user roles, theses are very limited & cannot be customized. I'd like the ability to customize these roles and/or add new roles with other permissions. For example, I'd like to add a user with a role or permissions where the user can view everything, but cannot book or change anything themselves in Event Temple. Or user permission that does not allow them to delete anything such as Bookings or Contacts Being able to choose which areas of event temple a user role has access to, for example billing departments can only see invoices & reports, but not other areas.

It would be nice to have some fields that could be locked so they can not be edited, or maybe even restrict who can see those fields. We end up storing data outside event temple so that we can track information that we don’t want to get edited.

We will like to have the option to restrict some users from changing prices or give them the freedom to modify them up or down by up to 10% only, if the change is higher than that it should be approved by a manager.

When I add a note, it can be modified or deleted by any other user which can cause confusion & misunderstandings, especially for larger organizations or chains where multiple people have access to bookings

We would like to have the ability to "Block" a Space in an Event so that nobody other than the Assignee will be able to change the Space. If someone else tries to change the Space they will get a warning that the Space is Blocked before they can continue. This will prevent accidental Space changes. This is used in hotels for accommodation rooms & called 'do not move'

We would like to be able to determine which pipeline each user has visibility into and access to.

There seem to be some related requests about deleting bookings, but we need the ability to stop users from deleting any booking at any time. If allowed, we need a way to alert on this so we know who is deleting what and can review why. It seems like only admins should have the ability to delete bookings.

As a user with access to multiple ET organizations, I often switch between different property’s bookings multiple times per day. This process is quite painful though. If I am in org A and I click a link for a booking in org B, the booking fails to load. It would be much nicer if I was taken to the booking in the new org rather than getting redirected to the main booking list view.

We would like to give a user access to only one template, rather than all templates

We think everything should go through a role, and ideally the roles can have functions assigned granularly. But at a minimum, unlocking a document could probably be reserved for an admin to ensure data integrity and correct processes are followed if a locked document needs to be re-issued Since we really only have two user classes. Full and admin. I don't know what happened to the old staff role. We could at least limit the number of bookings someone had access to with that role where they could only see what was assigned to them.
