When you work for a hotel that services multiple major languages, it is important to be able to present your documentation in those languages. Currently, the only way to have menu items in multiple languages is to upload different versions of the menu. Ideally, we would like to have different language settings on the menus which would allow us to produce an English menu as well as a Dutch menu.

We would like the ability to archive menus. Options for this could be if there are no active menu items, then don't show the menu as an option, or potentially the ability to archive a whole menu & its contents

It would be great to track the cost of goods of Menu Items, for example: I buy a catering package for 10€ but charge 15€ only those 5€ actually stay with me and hence is the only thing that should be reflected in the financial status. I want the ability to then report on this, so I can see Profit Vs Revenue. An example report is attached

We'd like the ability to build custom fields for Menu Items, the same way it is used in other areas of the app. For one particular situation, it'd be helpful to use an 'Account' / 'contact' custom field type to link a Vendor Contact to a menu item. Ideally then, the custom field will be visible in reporting. This would be useful to track how many menu items I've sold from a particular vendor. Custom fields are a well developed and very flexible feature within ET and extending it to menu items seem to me to be a natural extension that would open a lot of flexibility.

We recently made a bulk update to our Menu Items & as a lot of these had already been added to Bookings, we now need to manually locate each one & update it on the relevant Booking. It would be a great timesaver if there was the option to "Do you want to adjust assigned menu items?" To ensure past reporting is not affected, it should apply only to future Bookings Imagine you are a client that has signed a contract and the price is $40. Then we go and update our menus to be $45 and if it automatically overrides the price to $45. The menu items are subject to change due to seasonality however when they have locked in a price this is not so easy to change. The menu items on the other hand I think would always be OK to override. If we know that there is a client that would be really unhappy with the change in price then we may decide not to increase their price and to honour the old price. Hence why it would be ideal to be able to tick box which ones we want to change. Alternatively, if we can't do that and it would override everything then we would need to pull a report and go in and manually change back the ones that we feel are not ok to change. So I guess there are two things: automatically updating menu item prices automatically updating menu item choice group options Would be amazing if there was a drop down that you could tick if you want to do one or both of these things when updating the back end.

I would like the ability to Export my Menus and their associated Menu Items to excel or PDF

We're a venue who works with the general public and also non profit companies. We need 2 nearly identical menus with some small adjustments such as slightly different sub-menus or removing certain taxes or changing some pricing in some menu items. 1 x equipment menu for the general public & 1 x equipment menu for non-profits, same with F&B Menu, Room rental menu etc. I would like to have the ability to clone a menu with associated sub-menus & menu items so it doesn't have to be done one at a time. This should take into consideration bundled items

We would like a way to associate menu Items or Menus/sub-menus to a Vendor Account & then have a way to show all items within a reporting period we have used and to compare quickly the items charged to our clients and the items bought to our suppliers. In other words we want to make sure that all the items we buy from our supplier have been correctly charged to our clients.

When building Menus & Menu items, you can bulk update some things like taxes & revenue category but not price. Often we have the same item, multiple times with different pricing, eg cash bar & host bar beverages. We'd like a way to bulk update these items so we don't have to update each individual price.

Sometimes we have menu items which are based on per person (eg F&B) while other Menu Items are a set number (eg AV). Currently if we bundle a mixture of these items together & update the bundle quantity, it updates all items on the bundle. We'd like the option so 'per person' menu items can update accordingly & other menu Items can remain the same.
